Many times inside of Ableton we work with mono audio clips, whether they be a synth lead, a phat synth bass, a vocal, a vintage mono drum loop, a simple bass drum sample, or other various mono audio clips or midi instruments.
There might be times when just panning mono tracks in your “super tight” mono sound field just isn’t doin’ it for ya. No problem.

This video is done inside of Ableton Live 8, but we will explore this simple trick inside other DAWs such as Pro Tools, Reason, and Logic.
